This bar serves multiple purposes: to cleanse and moisturize your skin all while receiving the vitamins and minerals these oils naturally provide. It's ideal for anyone with skin sensitivities and even gentle enough for babies.

all bodygoodies soaps are made with a base of natural, sustainable, and organic plant and vegetable oils. often including but not limited to - olive, coconut, apricot, sunflower, safflower, castor, mango butter, shea butter, palm fruit oil. we also use beeswax in some of our products. clays : bodygoodies uses only the very best quality clays sourced from all over the world. In some of our soaps you will find a variety of clays known to be beneficial to skin such as rhassoul, french green, australian pink, australian black...etc.

muds: we know skin, and we know mud is good for it. we dont mind a little mud while we get clean and we dont think you will either. we use only the finest spa quality, raw muds available.

essential oils: all bodygoodies soaps are made with top shelf essential oils. Heidi has one heck of a nose and sniffs out the best essentials she can find. We use a variety of essentials in our soaps and leave the blending up to heidi.

exfoliants: sometimes you want a little, sometimes you want a lot. bodygoodies has a variety of exfoliating soaps with different scrubbing potential. From our super gritty sand and pumice, to our middle of the road rough dead sea salt and ground coffee, to our mildly exfoliating clays and muds. We are sure you will find the right exfoliant for you.

colorants: bodygoodies does not use any micas, F&D, or any sort of manufactured dye colorants to get our beautiful aesthetics. All colors are naturally occuring from the beneficial ingredients used, such as clays, muds, or botanicals.

Some of the natural benefits and properties of these oils include:

Coconut Oil: coconut oil absorbs readily into skin. It nourishes the skin keeping it soft and smooth. Prevents dry skin, premature aging and wrinkling.

Olive Oil: olive oil is rich in vitamins, minerals, as well as protein. It is an excellent moisturizer and is believed to have cell-regenerative capabilities. it is considered one of the best oils for skin care.

Jojoba Oil: jojoba oil is actually liquid wax! It's high in vitamins E, C and B and is also loaded with minerals! This wax is superb in any bar of soap. Jojoba is rich in iodine, which gives it a natural power to heal. Itss anti-inflammatory properties combined with its ability to shrink pore size, minimize fine lines and wrinkles and rejuvenate, all while loading your skin up with valuable minerals and fatty acids, make jojoba a must in any bar of soap.

Safflower: highly emollient, nutritive oil containing more polyunsaturated fatty acids than any other vegetable oil. Extremely moisturizing, soothes bruises and irritation. Easily absorbed into the skin.

All bodygoodies soaps are created using the cold process method. Because of the high glycerin content created in the process, please keep your soap in a well drained area to be sure it doesn't "melt" away! :)

This soap may be naked from fragrances, essential oils, powders, and colorants but sure gets the job done. It really creates a clean feeling skin with lots of lather to go around. And it definitely has a delightful aroma about it while washing even though there are no fragrances in the ingredients. I am very happy with this purchase and plan to get more in the future. Maybe after I try all of Heidi's other soaps first!
