all bodygoodies soaps are made with a base of natural, sustainable, and organic plant and vegetable oils. often including but not limited to - olive, coconut, apricot, sunflower, safflower, castor, mango butter, shea butter, palm fruit oil. we also use beeswax in some of our products. clays : bodygoodies uses only the very best quality clays sourced from all over the world. In some of our soaps you will find a variety of clays known to be beneficial to skin such as rhassoul, french green, australian pink, australian black...etc. 

muds: we know skin, and we know mud is good for it. we dont mind a little mud while we get clean and we dont think you will either. we use only the finest spa quality, raw muds available. 

essential oils: all bodygoodies soaps are made with top shelf essential oils. Heidi has one heck of a nose and sniffs out the best essentials she can find. We use a variety of essentials in our soaps and leave the blending up to heidi.

exfoliants: sometimes you want a little, sometimes you want a lot. bodygoodies has a variety of exfoliating soaps with different scrubbing potential. From our super gritty sand and pumice, to our middle of the road rough dead sea salt and ground coffee, to our mildly exfoliating clays and muds. We are sure you will find the right exfoliant for you. 

colorants: bodygoodies does not use any micas, FD&C, or any sort of manufactured dye colorants to get our beautiful aesthetics. All colors are naturally occuring from the beneficial ingredients used, such as clays, muds, or botanicals. 

dig has a very special ingredient in it --  whats that?? its roasted cocoa beans - ground into the finest possible form, so fine in fact it actually turns to liquid due to all of the butter in the beans - it then cools, hardens and smells like the most amazing rich chocolate youver ever sniffed. The difference is -- there is no milk, and no sugar added. it is the purest form of chocolate you can get. Its benefits to skin come from  the high natural anti-oxidants which enables it to prevent free radicals from damaging the skins elastin, collagen and other proteins. :  Pure cocoa ( with no sugar added) has twice the amount of flavonols than dark chocolate and dark chocolate has twice the flavonols of milk chocolate.  Antioxidants work with the skin to diffuse damage caused by both internal and external factors such as sun damage, pollution and smoking.  Antioxidants also help to protect skin from future damaged. dark chocolate and cocoa  topically or internally protects your skin with  natural defenses by maintaining collagen and reducing sun damage which normally leads to pre-mature aging of the skin.  It also improves skin texture, and increases hydration. Dark chocolate and cocoa also contains epicatechin which is a natural antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant. That means the epicatechin helps to guard cells from free radical damage which causes skin to age.
