dirty sour - lemon mudslide

This weekend i spent pretty low key, doing as the dr ordered and getting plenty of rest. However,  I could not stop the desire within, to bring to life, the idea for a new soap thats been brewing in my mind for the last few days. Ive always wanted to experiment with putting fresh fruit into soap. Ive just done so. And i believe ive also created my favorite facial soap bar ever.

You know, i always call myself a NERD, and i really am. Before creating this bar i researched the properties of a lemon probably more so than the grove keepers. ;) When i make a bar of soap? well, ill give you an example - i researched the reaction between salt and lemon, the ph of lemon, the ph of lemon vs salt, the values of lemon, the natural compounds that make a lemon a lemon and why they are beneficial, the compound differences between the pulp and the peel, their benefits to skin, individually, I took the lemon completely apart, and researched every compound that makes a lemon a lemon like pectin, linalool, citric acid..etc etc.. individually, and what their reaction in soap would be, and what they will do in regards to skin. YEP - and thats just one ingredient in the bar ;)

This bar is unlike any other bar in the bodygoodies line up. First, it looks like a chunk of raw marble, It smells like a fresh squeezed lemon, but the texture of this bar is amazing.. its really soft and creamy! The lather of the bar is unlike any bar ive created yet, and the moisture it left behind on my skin was incredible. I cannot wait to bring this bar to the line. It will be here shortly! Im already clearing a spot on the website for it!
